Inclusive class rooms

Inclusion in an education context means “treating all students equally”. All students should get benefits of studying. Such as religious, racial, ethnic, and linguistic minorities, immigrants, girls, the poor, students with disabilities, HIV/AIDS patients, remote populations, and more) they all are exclusive from participation and in learning process. So to maximize the participation of all students equally inclusive class is made. Schools are taking care of needs of students so they can participate equally. Inclusive education is a process of removing barriers and hindrance between the students and with school system. Inclusive education involves participation of students with special educational needs spend time with non-disable students. Inclusive education doesn’t distinguish between general education and special education program; in fact schools have improvised for staff as well as for students. So that students can learn together.

Various kind of inclusion:

Regular inclusion: where special educational need students go to general classrooms for more than half of a day and provide them a special services and teach them. The special educational need students gives additional help or special instruction in the general class rooms.

Full inclusion: the full inclusion avoids segregation of special and general class rooms. Both general and special students stay 2gether only in one class. This kind of inclusive classes works more than the regular ones.

Example in USA three out of five students with learning disabilities spends the majority of their time in the general education classroom.

Resources for inclusive classes:

Most regular and full time inclusion forgets that even special students need individual instructions. The general inclusion class room’s students face problems if more than twenty students are there students are unable to focus on it. Most parents are fear of inclusion classes because if their child will face ridicule by other special students. Some may complain that school is not paying attention toward general classes. Some school neglects the general students and pays more attention toward special students. Some says isolating students into special and general classes may lower their self esteem and ability to deal with other people.

sagar 20 months ago

idea is good....but ther r few things wich r necessary to make the idea successfull...

1)teachers handling both general and special students must be well trained....

2)the idea of inclusive classroom is to treat students equally....programme is made to bridge the differences bet students...but if not done properly(its like a double edged sword) it will lead to increasing diff among students....

but anyways abv points r already explained by the writer....i wrote it coz i felt this 2 points r crucial...

The article is one of the best because its targeting towards every people, even teacher also, people who are not physically challenged too. In fact, i think there should be a campaign for "Inclusive Classrooms", on that basis media can spread to the people through various tools of communication.
