Teenagers are mostly prone to eating disorders. During teens, the individuals are more vulnerable emotionally and physical as they approach puberty, they also face academic and peer pressure. You might as well experience depression, anxiety or other mental problems like ODC- obsessive-compulsive disorder when you face anorexia.

There are physical problems like heart diseases or kidney failure that could occur because of anorexia. A person who weighs 15% less than what he should according to his height may be weak and may not have enough fat to keep his organs and other body parts healthy. In extreme stances eating disorder may be fatal and may cause malnutrition.

I still prefer eating and eating healthy foods I don't care if I gain weight, important is that I know my limitations when it comes to eating habit.

I say eat and eat more!... that is, if it's fresh fruit or vegetables. Eat a lot of these, with servings of lean meat/nuts on the side or a salad, and you'll start shedding pounds, just from the fat you've cut from your diet. Humans have relied of natural foods for as long as we've existed and only recently, technology has brought us to the point where we're ingesting pre-prepared, pre-packaged foods with chemicals added that we don't even know how to pronounce the names of!
