Boarding school - Second Home

Boarding school allocates the pupils for study as well as shelter. Some boarding schools are only allocating the students for shelter while they study in a school non-affiliated with the college. Usually western countries has pupil staying and studying in boarding schools while Asian country has pupils staying at boarding school and going for study in different school. Many students spend most of their age in boarding schools. Boarding schools are available from childhood till 12^th, but some boarding school offers graduation accommodations also. In boarding school people eat, works stay and study together. Boarding schools are private as well as government owned. There is a rooms sharing system in every boarding school. There are many facilities and activities offered.

• There are teachers, housemasters, housemistress, all of them are appointed to take care of the students who are residing in the boarding school, who take care quite like parents only.
• Every student has to grab their food at same time in a dining room.(breakfast, lunch, dinner together in a specific time)
• Boarding school provides libraries so student can study; they have TV room and game room so students can relax themselves.  
• The other recreational facilities available are sports ground, and club, music room, gymkhana, squash courts, swimming pools, cinemas and theatres etc…
• Boarding schools have appropriate time schedules to go out and come back on time.
• Students need to sleep at specific time.
• Boarding schools provide permission to work for specific hours if any students want to work and earn money.
• Students have to wash their clothes on their own.
• Boarding schools have their own shops that provide all necessary goods for student’s requirement.
• Boarding schools have Monday to Friday working days as students have their lectures and other activities and on weekends are off, so even students want they can go home or anywhere else to spend their holiday.
• On some weekend boarding school can keep for sports, trip, and some other activities during a weekend.
• Parents and friends can visit the students any time but they have to inform to house master/mistress in advanced.
• Like other schools boarding school also conduct parents meeting every month.

In the past boarding schools were specifically available for boys but recently boarding schools for girls are also available. Earlier boys and girls had different boarding school however recently same boarding schools for both boys and girls are available.

As many people assume boarding school are strict however many parents send their troubled teens in boarding school. Boarding school have many rules and regulation to follow, many people send their children here because they either can’t take proper care of the children or to provide them with better studies and life. Many children’s spend most of their life in boarding schools than with their family.

Boarding school provide a good advantage to the students as it provides students with a good environmental education, a responsible behavior in students, strengthen emotional and physical growth of the child, children have growth in their confidence. Students learn so many different things like sports, music, drama, art etc...  In recent years many students stay in boarding school to make their career.
